SYNOPSIS

I'm looking forward to alone time with my wolf shifter boyfriend before he visits his former pack. I should go with him, but my commitment issues are stressing me out. Not only is my hair turning white, but I imagined seeing sirens in the ocean. Those monsters can’t be back.

When I wake up looking decades older, I freak out.

What happened? Sebastian can’t see me like this. Have I been cursed?

Can my best friend, a witch, help me undo it? Or am I stuck being the oldest twenty-something on the planet?

      LOOK INSIDE

I glanced in the mirror above the sink and screamed.

"What's wrong?" Sebastian shouted from the other side of the door.

I blinked at my reflection. My mouth opened and closed as I drew in rapid breaths. What was going on?

He couldn't see me like this. "Nothing," I lied. What could I say to explain it? "Just a bug."

"Need me to take care of it?"

"No!" In a softer voice, I added, "Already done."

I peered closer into the mirror and my stomach plunged to the tile floor. My heartbeat drummed with a death metal beat against my ribs. Something was royally wrong. My hair had white streaks-not gray but pure white. How did that happen overnight?

Worse were the new wrinkles etched near my eyes and the sides of my mouth.

My lips trembled as I gaped at myself. No, that wasn't me. The woman who looked back at me was a distorted version of me who'd had aged overnight. What in all of Hades had happened?

      A small cry escaped me.

"Gianna, is everything okay?" Sebastian's tone sounded worried.

      "Everything's fine," I squeaked.

"You don't sound fine." He rapped on the door. "Can I come in?"

      "No!"

      "Why not?"

I bit my lip, searching for an answer.

When one didn't come, he asked, "Are you coming back to bed?"

Eek. I was facing an existential crisis staring at a future version of myself. How could I face him looking like this?
