SYNOPSIS

Cruises are supposed to be relaxing. This one took an awkward turn.

That’s what happens when my fun-loving, dragon shifter mate jumps on a table to dance. And then strip. Why the pixie dust would Lucas do that? Yes, he used to be an exotic dancer, but this is a public venue.

To make things worse, my ex is on board and witnessed the mortifying incident. The same elf who broke my heart. Now he’s interested in getting cozy again.

Trouble follows us home. My ex continues to pursue me, a woman lurks around Lucas’s house, and he is ensnared by a spell. If I don’t figure out what’s causing this chaos, I could lose Lucas forever.

If you like paranormal romantic comedies, you'll love the Salem Supernaturals series with quirky characters, found family, magic, and mischief!

LOOK INSIDE

The first notes of Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself" played. I turned to Lucas and gave him a look. "You didn't."

He grinned widely. "I did." He stood up and pulled my hand. "Come on, my elf. Your leg is healed now, right? Let's dance."

I shook my head and laughed. He'd played this for me every so often, singing it as Dancing With My Elf.

"I'm not ready yet. Let me finish my drink."

"Oh, okay," he replied with rueful agreement. He leaned back and put his arm behind me on the seat cushion. Soon, he was moving his upper body and humming along with it.

"You must really want to dance. You can barely sit still."

"Mind if I go out there? You can join me when you're ready."

"Sure."

He flashed a wide smile and kissed me. Then he went out to the dance floor. I soon lost sight of him in the crowd and chatted with Nova and Diego.

Diego's eyes widened. "Ho-leeeee dragon scales." He pointed across the room and barked out with surprised laughter.

Lucas stood on a low table similar to ours, only he was dancing and—

"What's he doing?" My heart jolted. Sweet and sour potions, no. He had unbuttoned his shirt.

Yikes.

I covered my mouth. What was going on?

Lucas had been an exotic dancer when we'd met. He no longer danced at the club but worked with me at the Salem Supernatural Network. The slow, seductive moves he worked on the lounge table were definitely from the club days.

People near Lucas stared at him with expressions ranging from horror to amusement.

I jumped up. "We have to stop him."
